Global warming

Global warming is the process of increasing the average temperature of the oceans and the Earth's atmosphere caused by massive emissions of gases that intensify the greenhouse effect, originating from a series of human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels and changes in land use, such as deforestation, as well as several other secondary sources. These causes are a direct product of the population explosion, economic growth, the use of polluting technologies and energy sources and an unsustainable lifestyle, in which nature is seen as a raw material for exploration. They affect the seas, causing their level to rise and changes in the sea currents and the chemical composition of the water, with acidification, desalination and deoxygenation. They interfere with the rhythm of the seasons and the cycles of water, carbon, nitrogen and other compounds.
